The Egnater Rebel-20 is an innovative little guitar amplifier with huge sound capabilities. The Rebel-20 is a 20 watt, all tube amp, but it has a Variable Wattage Control that lets you control the amount of power you want, from 1 watt to 20 watts, without losing tone. It also has a mixture of power tubes that lets you dial in your ideal tone. The Rebel 20 uses three 12AX7 Preamp Tubes, and two each of 6V6 and EL84 Power Tubes. The Tube Mix control allows you to get the true American sound out of the 6V6s, the signature British sound out of the EL84s, or a mixture of both for your own perfect tone.
The Rebel-20 has Egnater’s Signature Tight and Bright switches, as well as their wide Gain control. The Tight Switch controls the low bass range, while the Bright Switch controls the high end. The Gain control knob allows you to control the amount of distortion or crunchiness that you want. This combination of controls lets you get just about any type of tone out of this one little amp.
The only other controls on the amp are for Master Volume, Treble, Mids, and Bass. A high-grade effects loop has been wired into the Rebel-20, too, keeping your tone right where you want it, even when effects are being used.
