The Peavey Triple XXX is a hard hitting 120-Watt amplifier with three distinct channels. The XXX has excellent, easy to use features that make it very versatile. This all-tube amplifier uses three 12AX7 Preamp Tubes and comes standard with four 6L6GC Power Tubes, but is easily convertible to use four EL34s. A great feature that allows for two very different range of sounds and tones. Each of the three channels on the Triple X has its own Volume control, but a global Master Volume control is present, also. This allows you to play at various volumes, without compromising your tone.

Peavey’s Windsor head is a 100-Watt guitar amplifier with a single channel. It uses three 12AX7 pre-amp tubes and four EL34 power tubes, and can be run on either Class A or Class A/B power. Most amplifiers use one type of power, but Peavey has patented a Texture knob that allows you to push Class A power, Class A/B power, or a mixture of both. This feature lets you get both vintage and modern tones out of the same amplifier with the simple twist of a knob.

The Peavey 6505 was released in 2005, and was essentially a rebirth of the 5150 line of Peavey amps. The name change was incorporated to help celebrate the forty year anniversary of Peavey, which began in 1965. The 6505 comes stock with five 12AX7 preamp tubes and four 6L6GC power tubes. It is 120 watts, and can be switched between 16, 8, or 4 ohms. A footswitch comes standard, allowing you to change between the two preamp channels with your foot, or on the front panel of the amp itself.
