The Bugera 6260 is a two-channel, 120-Watt amplifier with a classic, American sound. The amp is run off of five 12AX7 pre-amp valves and four 6L6 power valves. If you would rather have the rugged, British tone, the amp has a convertible switch, allowing you to use EL34 power valves instead.
The two channels are marked Clean and Lead. The Clean channel has a Bright control button, which boosts your higher-end levels. A Crunch button is also available on the Clean channel, which boosts your overdrive. The Clean channel also has independent Gain and Volume dials. The Lead channel is pretty straight-forward with only Volume and Gain control dials.
As far as Global controls, there is a three-band equalization of Bass, Mids, and Treble, Reverb, and Presence. Low and High Gain inputs are wired into this amp, as well, so you have an even wider range of gain. An effects loop, with the ability to be selected on the footswitch, is available, too. Lastly, an Impedance switch allows you to play the 6260 through any four, eight, or sixteen Ohm speaker cab.
